Did you get what you wanted for Christmas? I didn’t get exactly what was on my list, but I did get an awesome set of E.L.F nail polish! This is a pic of E.L.F’s gold dusted taupe nail polish with an over-layer of their large gold glitter flakes.
The set came with 14 nail polishes of various shades and I can’t wait to try them all! This nail polish dries fast, has great pigmentation and so far no chips! For the ridiculously low price these babies are sold at I’m shocked at how great the quality is. Check out E.L.F beauty products for yourself at their website here.
Great addition to my holiday look!

Zoya’s newest release: matte glitter nail polish. Genius!

I got this ImPress Press-On Manicure nail set from Influenster’s College Vox Box yesterday to test and review the product. The pattern on the nails were something I could never do myself with my own nail polish so I was excited to try them. The box said the manicure will last for a whole week if you follow the directions so I made sure I did everything exactly like the box said.

Now as a little girl I had my share of press-on nails and they never lasted more than a couple hours - and that was only if I was being extra, extra careful with what I did with my hands. Why I thought these would be different, I don’t know. I guess I was just hoping that it wouldn’t be too much of a waste of my time prepping and putting these things on. Well needless to say they lasted only a couple hours and that was only because I was watching a movie. If I was doing anything else I’m sure they would have fallen off a lot sooner.
The nails didn’t all come falling off at once either. In fact it was just a nail or two. I tried to repress them on in the hopes of salvaging my manicure, but once the glue had been compromised there was no going back. In the end with manicure vs. my son the hellion… hellion won hands down. I ended up just popping them all off and gave the bottle the rest of the nails were stored in to my son to shake around and play with.
My final conclusion: I’m not 100% sold on the product but a friend of mine said I should try it again with my nails the same length as the products. Hers seems to stay on for the whole week when she wears them. So… I guess I’ll just have to try again.
If you would like to try the product yourself you can find them at CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart and more with solid colors selling at $5.99 and patterns at $7.99. These press-on nails can be applied in seconds, there’s no glue needed, no drying time, doesn’t damage your natural nails and can last up to a week. See more product information at Broadway Nails website here.
I was super excited to find this baby in my mailbox today! It’s the College Vox Box from Influenster. In it I got:
Not going to be using the Energy Sheets because I’m 6 months pregnant and neither me nor my baby need that much caffeine. Handing it off to my other half to test out for me. I’ll let you ladies know how it goes.
However, I’m dying to try the little press on nails mainly because of the cool snakeskin pattern on them, and I’m so glad I got eye-liner in my box since I just ran out. How perfect is that? Definitely wearing tomorrow.
I have tried the Tropical Wafer snack and can honestly say I’m not a fan. It has a chalk-like texture that I just can’t get around. My son loves it though so it’ll stay in my bag for the next time I have to bribe obedience out of him. ;p
Lastly, in LOVE with the liquid gel pen! It glides so smoothly across paper. I’m NOT in college and don’t do much note taking, but it definitely comes in handy for all the paperwork I have to do at our dance studio. Keeping this chained to my bag so sticky fingers can’t walk away with it.
Thanks Influenster for the freebies! Can’t wait for another chance to test and review another Vox Box :D
When it comes to makeup I’ve always been a fan of bright bold lips. However, the new geometric eyeliner look that has been seen all over the runways at Fashion Week have got me thinking maybe I should try something new.
Here are the bold, the subtle and the maybe wearable:

Thank you for sharing “From Me to You.” I am in LOVE with this collection :D
Total glamour. What Zac Posen does for women’s bodies can suck all the air out of a room. On a balcony over Lincoln Center he sent his icons floating, gliding, and slinking down the runway with Etta James’s “Sunday Kind of Love” echoing off the pillars reminding us glamour is still alive and oh, man…
isn’t it fun being a woman?
