As a mother who spends all my money on my kids instead of on myself I have a closet comprised of clothes I’ve slowly collected over the years. There hasn’t been much updating and I tend to fall back on the same dated outfits over and over again. After reading this article, however, I think I’m going to take Natalia’s 7 day challenge and see if I can’t “remix” my closet as well.

Sugar 'n Spice Vox Box

What a lucky girl! I was selected by Influenster to receive another vox box filled with complimentary goodies to test and review. Man I love being an Influenster!

Before I could even look at everything I got in my Sugar ‘n Spice Vox Box my other half stole the Belvita cookies and munched them down. I was able to steal one before he ate them all and I knew why he wasn’t sharing. They’re delicious! And get this… they’re like an energy bar. Here’s the low down from they’re website:

“BelVita Breakfast Biscuits are made with delicious ingredients and are carefully baked to release nutritious sustained energy, all morning long. They are a good source of Fiber and B-vitamins, contain no high fructose corn syrup, have 18-20 grams of whole grain per 50 gram serving and taste great, which makes BelVita Breakfast Biscuits perfect for when you’re on the go.”

Next up… Colgate’s Optic White Line. It’s a trio of whitening products - toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash - that says it’ll whiten your teeth in a matter of weeks. I was a little skeptical at first, but after only a week my teeth were noticeably whiter!

(This was after using the product twice a day, everyday.) The only drawback for me is the mouthwash. It tastes HORRIBLE! It took everything I had to keep using the product so that I could give it an honest and thorough review. I’m so glad it worked and I don’t have to use it anymore. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel Towelettes were also included in my Vox Box for testing and let’s just say they have a new fan. I’m in love with these individually wrapped towelettes that clean all the impurities from my face without drying out my skin. I throw one in my purse before heading to dance practice, and it’s great as a makeup remover too. Not a huge fan of the smell, but it won’t stop me from buying another box when this one runs out.

In love with Vaseline’s new Spray & Go lotion! Why have I not found a product like this before? It’s genius! No more having to bend and twist and reach to lotion up, now I can just “spray and go!” Easy. I spray it on after a hot shower and by the time I walk over to my clothes the lotions dry and moisture’s locked in. Now Vaseline just has to make a travel size version I can keep in my purse.

The last product in my Vox Box was Splenda’s Nectresse, a natural no calorie sweetener. Since having my second son I’m all for “no calories.” This has a new spot right next to my tea pot and favorite mug.

Came across this article at Refinery 29 and thought I’d share. I know 27 is still a little early to be worrying about fine lines, but if I take care of my skin now I won’t have to worry so much later.
