As a mother who spends all my money on my kids instead of on myself I have a closet comprised of clothes I’ve slowly collected over the years. There hasn’t been much updating and I tend to fall back on the same dated outfits over and over again. After reading this article, however, I think I’m going to take Natalia’s 7 day challenge and see if I can’t “remix” my closet as well.

Pantone announced that Emerald Green is the color of choice for the coming year. Emerald is often associate with luxury, balance and harmony… all things I’d love for 2013… so you bet I’m headed out and pulling a few key pieces in this stunning color to add to my wardrobe.

I LOVE the holiday season! Once Halloween comes around I’m a decorating, shopping, festivity-spreading maniac until New Years day. My favorite part… shopping for new holiday outfits!
This year, however, presents a new challenge in the fashion department.
If you’ve been following my posts you know that I am pregnant with my second son. I am now 27 weeks and headed into my last trimester. I am ROUND. My second munchkin is far larger than my first was at this point and I’m growing out of all my pre-pregnancy clothes quickly. I’m in desperate need of a mini shopping spree. On my list… killer outfits for the Christmas and New Years parties my family will be attending.
I, however, am not one to buy maternity wear when it comes to dresses. I want to buy something I can keep wearing even after I give birth. Hence, I have been scouring the web and stores to find something that will accomodate the belly but still be wearable and cute. Here’s what I’ve found so far:

The best part about all these looks… they are all under $50! That gives me more money to put into presents! I have to uphold my title as “best present giver” in my family after all :D

If you’re like me and know exactly what you want, but not where to find it this website could help. It’s like a forum of sorts. You post a pic of what you’re looking for and other members help you find it! It’s pretty cool just to look around at what other members have posted too. It gave me some ideas as to what I’m grabbing next time I’m at the mall. :)

So I am 5 months along with my second child and I know how difficult it can be trying to make the baby bump fashionable. Especially when most days my sweat pants are just too comfortable to change out of!
